Good value for money. The double room with ensuite was nice and had plenty of hot water in the shower. The kitchen and sitting room areas were also fine. The location was perfect, near beautiful Skelligthorpe islands and Vallentia.
The pillow cases had yellow stains on them, so I had to sleep on top of the bed. The fridge was full of food and there was no space to put anything inside.

The spacious family rooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for us. The manager was incredibly friendly and even left freshly baked cakes in the communal kitchen every day. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge made it practical for our family. Despite it being busy, it was quiet at night and the views over the bay were amazing. I highly recommend this place for families!

We had an amazing Christmas at this place! the rooms were super spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family. the kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook a delicious Christmas dinner. the location was stunning, with beautiful mountain views and lakes nearby for a relaxing walk. Plus, the price was so reasonable for the level of comfort we experienced.
That the walls were quite thin, so we could hear people in the adjacent rooms. It would have been nicer if there were extra blankets available in the rooms, as it got a little chilly at night.

The hostel had everything you could possibly need - a kitchen, dining room, and even private gardens. The walks and beaches nearby were simply divine!
Oh, and let's not forget the pleasure of purchasing groceries in a different town. So convenient.

We had a fantastic stay at Skellig Lodge! The owner, Frida, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to the well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, pub, and dining options. The quiet and tucked away setting was a hidden gem. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. I highly recommend Skellig Lodge for a homely and enjoyable stay.

Loved pretending I was on a posh DIY holiday with the self-catering kitchen. Private gardens perfect for secretly tanning. Wonderful walks and Blue Flag beaches nearby for my Instagram shots.
Surprisingly, no unicorns spotted in the private gardens. Disappointing.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
